"SS-3 (for application)" is a gel-type pickling agent for austenitic stainless steel (such as SUS304, 304L, 316, 316L). It has good spreadability like paint and a viscosity suitable for brush application, and since it does not require a dipping tank, it is effective for stainless steel structures that are large, heavy, fixed with anchors, or otherwise difficult to move, making immersion impossible. Additionally, it only acts on the applied areas, allowing for partial pickling treatment.
