It is a continuous exhaust gas analyzer that uses a semiconductor laser as the light source.
The KEM Laser Gas Analyzer KLA-1 is a continuous gas analyzer that uses a semiconductor laser as its light source. The measurement principle employs single spectral absorption spectroscopy in the near-infrared region of gas molecules. This method is characterized by high selectivity, high sensitivity, and good stability. Furthermore, by adopting a sample non-aspiration method (direct insertion method) that does not require a sampling device, it enables continuous gas measurement under conditions of high temperature, high pressure, and high corrosiveness, which were difficult to measure conventionally. It has a short response time and is an optimal device for process control.

basic information
Features - Good selectivity due to the adoption of single absorption line spectroscopy. By selecting absorption lines that do not overlap with coexisting gases and employing single absorption line absorption spectroscopy, there is almost no interference effect. - No drift due to the adoption of spectral modulation, unaffected by dust or window contamination. Utilizing the wavelength variability of semiconductor lasers, it continuously detects changes in the transmittance of the non-absorbing parts and the peaks of the absorption band of the measurement gas, resulting in no drift and no influence from dust or window contamination. - Unaffected by temperature and pressure. When the temperature or pressure of the sample gas changes, external temperature and pressure signals can be input, and a special algorithm automatically corrects the spectral broadening errors. - Adoption of direct insertion method. The direct insertion method allows for a short response time and enables measurements without altering the state of the sample gas, allowing for accurate measurement of gases that are difficult to measure with conventional methods. - Easy to operate with no consumables. There are no moving parts, so there is no need for consumable replacements. Maintenance consists only of cleaning optical components every three months and gas calibration every six months.
