Even with the fine slits of a wedge wire screen, water droplets do not form due to surface tension, allowing water to flow across the screen surface, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of solid-liquid separation. Additionally, the hydrophilic coating has an affinity for water, allowing water to infiltrate between the coating and the oil, resulting in a self-cleaning effect.
