"Paraffin-based phase change materials (PCM)" are increasingly being utilized as thermal storage materials by leveraging the significant heat storage capacity of paraffin, and they have been produced to improve efficiency and usability. In the case of PCM, it is possible to reliably maintain temperature without the use of external devices or power sources. In this case, a thermally insulated transport box equipped with a PCM accumulator is used. To avoid heating, a low melting point PCM, RT2HC, is employed. PCM can also be applied when it is necessary to maintain the cooling of perishable goods for an extended period. On the other hand, PCM with a high melting point, such as RT70HC or GR82, can be used to maintain the temperature of pre-cooked warm foods. These PCM materials are utilized in restaurants and delivery services.
