■Purpose of Using Double Piping The main reason for using double piping is to utilize the gap between the primary and secondary pipes to prevent (detect) leaks. In recent years, leakage issues have arisen in various settings, becoming a social problem, which has significantly changed the perspective on the environment. ■Leak Prevention (Detection) System Air or nitrogen is pressurized and filled between the primary and secondary pipes (sleeve pipes), and based on this pressure state, the leak detection device can identify whether the level is decreasing (whether it is a natural reduction or an abnormal occurrence). In the event of an anomaly (leak), an alarm sounds, enabling early detection of leaks. This system allows for constant monitoring, ensuring safe facility operations. Additionally, it can also detect leaks in double-walled tanks (underground tanks) and above-ground tanks.
