Transforming an age-old process of annealing into something new with just one idea!
In general, iron products go through various processes from the material stage when they come from major steel companies to become final products, during which they change shape in various ways. In these processes, internal strain can occur in the iron, and if the processing is too strong, it can crack. The heat treatment that removes such strain and prevents processing cracks is called "annealing." There are different types of annealing depending on the application, such as "full annealing," "spheroidizing annealing," and "stress relief annealing." The heat treatment called quenching, which is performed close to the final product state, aims to harden the iron, while the annealing performed at the material stage aims to soften the iron. Additionally, using our facilities, we can also perform "normalizing" operations. **Main Types of Annealing** - Full Annealing - Spheroidizing Annealing - Stress Relief Annealing *Please note that we do not actually perform the treatments; we welcome inquiries from companies that need support regarding annealing.* *For more details, please feel free to contact us.*

Company information
Toho Annealing began operations in January 1967 as a manufacturer of annealing processing for general mild steel wire materials. Subsequently, during Japan's period of rapid economic growth, there was a demand for materials used in high-strength construction materials and automotive parts, which led to the desire to soften the steel to make it easier to process without changing the designed steel composition. We developed unique atmosphere control technology and heat patterns to prevent decarburization and carburization during heat treatment while softening the steel. Additionally, as an extension of this, we started heat treatment for special steels and press-forged products, and we are currently also conducting heat treatment for some non-metal materials. There are various types of annealing depending on the application, such as "full annealing," "spheroidizing annealing," and "stress relief annealing." The purpose of annealing performed at the material stage is to soften the iron.
