NUCSAFE's pedestrian system is a radiation monitor for pedestrians that has already been deployed in many international airports, train stations, and important facilities. While typical access control systems measure each individual by detaining them, the pedestrian system quickly makes a determination simply by passing through a gate. The pedestrian's split alarm technology suppresses false alarms. If a person carrying radioactive material (RI) is immediately in front of or behind you, you may be judged to be holding RI due to the influence of others carrying it.
