We would like to introduce a case of "improvement of the chuck mechanism." In this case, the issue was that the tightening of the ophthalmic endoscope connector insertion part was not being achieved. Therefore, our company improved the components of the connector connection part of the ophthalmic endoscope. By turning the outermost knob, the chuck tightens, and the connector is secured. Three components are used, and we proposed a review of the material and dimensional accuracy for each, which allowed us to restore the gripping force of the chuck.
