Advanced and efficient in-cylinder engine solutions.
Before the introduction of CONVERGE, the analysis of valve and piston movement within cylinders was considered a "craftsmanship" of specialized CFD engineers due to the difficulty of mesh creation and physical modeling. CONVERGE, with its groundbreaking features, is user-friendly software that allows anyone to perform cylinder analysis with just two days of operational training, and it is being utilized for engine analysis worldwide. In the current design and development process of internal combustion engines, there is a demand for further fuel efficiency improvements to achieve carbon neutrality, while at the same time, it is essential to reduce experimental and adaptation workloads to adapt to the new normal, necessitating a more efficient development process.

basic information
"CONVERGE" is a product developed by Convergent Science, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as CSI), established by key members of the Engine Research Center (ERC) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Due to its ease of setup and high computational accuracy, it is rapidly expanding its reach, primarily in North America and Europe. It completely eliminates the mesh generation process, which was a factor hindering work efficiency, with a fully automated mesher. It is equipped with a wealth of physical models related to engines, including spray models, combustion models, and turbulence models, making it suitable for simulations of all types of engines, including gasoline engines, diesel engines, natural gas engines, and HCCI engines. Additionally, innovative mesh control technologies, including solution-adaptive grids, enable higher computational accuracy with lower analysis loads compared to traditional computational tools.
