A media converter designed to be compact and lightweight, capable of providing up to 30W of PoE power to PD (Powered Device).
The MaxiiFiber Vi5001 is a media converter that converts RJ-45 (10/100BASE-TX) to fiber optic (100BASE-FX). With its compact and lightweight design, it can provide up to 30W of PoE power to PD (Powered Device), making it suitable for use in locations with limited installation space or where power wiring to the PD is difficult. SFP modules are available with LC 2-core (single mode/multi-mode). Data transmission is possible up to 20 km in single mode and up to 2 km in multi-mode. (*The SFP port only supports connections to the MaxiiFiber Vi5001 counterpart.) The input power supports DC 12V or 48V. (When using PoE power, please be sure to use 48V.)
