A light scattering relative concentration meter that can display measurement results in various formats.
Digital dust meters are widely used for measuring suspended particulate matter related to working environments, and they have advantages such as obtaining data in a shorter time compared to the filtration collection method as relative concentration meters using light scattering methods. On the other hand, the obtained relative concentration must be corrected to mass concentration by determining the mass concentration conversion coefficient based on the filtration collection method due to its characteristics. By inputting the mass concentration conversion coefficient (K value), the count values can be easily converted to mass concentration. The LD-5 type is a relative concentration meter using the light scattering method that can display measurement results in various formats. Compared to the filtration collection method, the relative concentration meter using the light scattering method can perform measurements in a shorter time. It also has advantages such as being able to grasp sudden concentration changes. Instantaneous values and cumulative count values can be checked on the same screen. The transition of concentration values during measurement can be monitored on the screen. With the simple logging function, measurement values can be recorded with simple operations during measurement. Measurement values recorded during logging measurements can be imported to a personal computer using the included cable and dedicated communication software. *Compatible operating systems: Windows 98/Me/XP/VISTA/7. The included communication software allows real-time monitoring of count numbers and trend graphs on the computer screen.
