The SI-60FP and SI-60P are PoE-powered interface converters (serial-to-LAN conversion adapters) that allow FA devices and measuring instruments with only an RS-232C serial communication port to connect to a LAN. They function as protocol converters that convert synchronous serial data into LAN protocols such as TCP/IP.
