Introducing the application of network-type RTK-GPS in national highway kilometer post marking!
We would like to introduce a case in which Tohoku Engineering Co., Ltd. applied network-type RTK-GPS for "National Route Kilometer Post Standardization." In this case, a reference point was established at the 1-kilometer post of National Route 45 in 2006, and a PAS compatible with network-type RTK-GPS was introduced for the work of assigning coordinates. The company was looking for a machine that could obtain coordinates directly and accurately, as pulling coordinates from traditional public coordinate triangulation points or electronic reference points using TS would result in an enormous amount of work.
