We resolved the issue of poor sludge floc formation and sedimentation, which was causing carryover and exceeding standard values. Site: Seafood processing wastewater Situation: There were often problems with equipment that could not achieve stable treatment. ↓ 【Proposal】 To check the condition of the activated sludge, we conducted a microbial observation in the aeration tank, where we confirmed that the microorganisms were not functioning effectively. Therefore, we proposed the introduction of a bio-agent. Additionally, to improve dewatering efficiency, we re-selected a high molecular weight coagulant. 【Results of Implementation】 This time, we proposed to improve treatment using existing equipment without introducing new facilities. After our proposal, the treatment situation improved, allowing for stable operation.
