This is an introduction to the development case of the electrolysis nickel plating solution transfer pump "2PDM-27M." Electroless nickel plating solution plates all objects it comes into contact with. Furthermore, the pumps used by the customer had mechanical seals and gland packing that were also plated, requiring frequent replacement and repair. In response, we designed and proposed a pump specifically for the electroless nickel plating solution. After implementation, a single pump can transfer and circulate both the electroless nickel plating solution and nitric acid, simplifying operations to just valve switching and reducing work time.
