■Basic System Functions The basic function of the bend check system is to measure any bending and warping of round products. The system measures the product's position and outer diameter at three different locations. The bend check calculates the straight path line connecting the three scanners and the deviation of the product's position. Operators can also select the calculation formula for the bending value according to the required items. This information allows for continuous calculation of the product's bending and visual display. The bend check has a mode for continuous measurement without information from a gauge or encoder, as well as a mode that allows for selection of measurement steps in conjunction with an encoder. When the product enters the measurement area, data collection begins, and data such as the position, outer diameter, and bending value of each product is collected. ■Software All data is displayed on the screen. The outer diameter, bending value, bending angle, and the most recent measurements from each scanner can be confirmed. It is also possible to display statistical data and the maximum bending values of up to five of the most recent products.
