Case Study 5: "Is it possible to accommodate small lot orders, such as three units of a large work product?"
We would like to introduce a case study of metal heat treatment that our company proposed. The inquiry was about preventing heating cracks and burn cracks in high-alloy large forged molds, and the request was for a quenching and tempering process with minimal hardness variation. For large workpieces, we can accommodate quenching and tempering with a maximum processing size of 1100W × 2400L × 600H. Our company performs two-stage heating, lift quenching, and one to three-stage tempering, and we conducted quality confirmation through Brinell hardness measurement (9-point measurement). 【Case Study】 ■ Challenges - Preventing heating cracks and burn cracks in high-alloy large forged molds - Quenching and tempering process with minimal hardness variation ■ Maximum Processing Size - Quenching and tempering: 1100W × 2400L × 600H - Annealing: 2230W × 2450L × 1000H - Normalizing: 2230W × 2450L × 1000H ■ Solutions - Two-stage heating, lift quenching, one to three-stage tempering - Quality confirmation through Brinell hardness measurement (9-point measurement) *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
