It effectively and sustainably suppresses the amount of alkali components leaching from borosilicate glass, stabilizing the pharmaceutical agents. Additionally, in freeze-dried formulations, it has the effect of suppressing the phenomenon of formulation "crawling" after freeze-drying without changing the freeze-drying conditions.
