Introducing the effectiveness of surface treatment and precision shot peening 'OX-FSP' for hot forging molds and cold forging molds.
We will introduce the effectiveness of the precision shot peening surface treatment technology "OX-FSP treatment" for hot forging molds and cold forging molds. (1) Mold lifespan extension Prevents damage to molds caused by microcracks by removing the discharge abnormal layer. (2) Improvement of fatigue strength Applies stress to the root R, which is the starting point for cracks in forging molds. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

basic information
"Precision Shot Peening 'OX-FSP Processing' is..." This method involves carefully selecting shot conditions based on the material, heat treatment, hardness of the product, as well as the operating environment and its countermeasures, and processing under appropriate conditions with the primary objectives of improving fatigue strength and enhancing sliding properties. Compared to conventional shot peening, reducing the media size to several micrometers to several millimeters increases the injection speed to over 200 m/sec, allowing for tremendous injection energy even with the same amount of air (processing pressure). This enables the achievement of surface heat treatment effects, high residual compressive stress, and good sliding properties.
