The screw removal machine consists of a fixed side mold that forms the outer shape of the cap, a core mold that forms the internal screw part on the movable side, and an AC servo motor that drives this core in rotation. In the gear-type mechanism, the rotation drive mechanism is integrated into the mold, and the gear rotates as the mold opens, enabling the core's rotational drive. While the uniform operation provided by the gear ensures reliable performance, it also necessitates a separate rotational drive mechanism for each individual mold, making the mold itself more complex and increasing costs. On the other hand, using a motor allows for the screw removal mold and the rotational drive part to be considered separately, which is an advantage. The rotational drive part is installed as part of the molding machine's mechanism and function, resulting in a simpler structure for the mold compared to the gear type.
