The screw removal machine consists of a fixed side mold that forms the outer shape of the cap, a core mold that forms the movable inner screw part, and an AC servo motor that drives the rotation of this core. The rotation drive of the screw removal mold is powered by the AC servo motor. "To create a cap through resin molding, a core mold with engraved screws is used. However, since the cap's screw has internal threads with ridges, the core mold cannot be pulled out directly after resin filling. It is necessary to open the mold while rotating the core mold. A mold that requires such rotational operation during opening is called a screw removal mold (Unscrewing mold)." Note: While it is possible with mechanical molds, molding molds, plastic molds, mold molds, and die-cast molds, it seems that press molds and casting molds are currently not supported.

In the gear-type mechanism, the rotation drive mechanism is integrated into the mold, and the gear rotates as the mold opens, enabling the core's rotational drive. While the uniform operation provided by the gear ensures reliable performance, it also necessitates a separate rotational drive mechanism for each individual mold, making the mold itself more complex and increasing costs. On the other hand, using a motor allows for the screw removal mold and the rotational drive part to be considered separately, which is an advantage. The rotational drive part is installed as part of the molding machine's mechanism and function, resulting in a simpler structure for the mold compared to the gear type. In environments where multiple molds of different types are exchanged to produce a variety of caps, we believe this system offers high flexibility.
