**Points for Balancing High Quality and Low Cost in Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication** ■ Choose the Appropriate Processing Method - Design with an understanding of the bending limits of the press brake. - Design to minimize the amount of welding as much as possible. ■ Choose the Appropriate Material and Surface Treatment - For stainless steel, meter plates, 4×8 (Shihachi) plates, and 5×10 (Gotou) plates are available in the market, so designing to fit these standard sizes can reduce costs. Furthermore, designing to fit within standard sizes can reduce the areas that require welding, leading to cost savings. ■ Choose the Appropriate Welding Method - Consider whether full perimeter welding is necessary or if it can be done with spot welding. - Choose between TIG welding or YAG welding based on strength, appearance, and tolerance for distortion. ■ Others - If buff polishing is required and no buildup can be left, use TIG welding.
