The "OM7000A" is an automatic recording aerobic microorganism respirometer developed at the Hokkaido Industrial Research Institute. It is suitable for measuring the biodegradability of chemical substances, simulating purification processes (activated sludge treatment) in wastewater, automating and quantifying tissue culture in pathology, and testing the effects of various factors such as vaccines and antibiotics, as well as measuring respiration rates and oxygen consumption in the chemical industry, fisheries, and agriculture.
