In contrast, what is generally referred to as fabric is a biaxial structure where the warp and weft yarns are woven at a 90° crossing angle, known as Biaxial Woven Fabric (hereinafter referred to as B.W.F.). The performance of the fabric is governed not by maximum strength but by minimum strength in relation to deformation forces, leading to research and development based on the idea that eliminating directions with extremely low strength is beneficial.
