Although it has a DC output, the output voltage waveform is a half-wave rectified waveform of the input voltage waveform. The maximum test voltage is 8kV peak, with a peak value of 8kV. Since the output terminals are floating, grounding either the positive or negative terminal allows for an output of +8kV / -8kV. It features a convenient carrying handle.
