The "Dual Link DVI Optical Extender" can extend Dual Link signals at a resolution of 2560×1600 up to 300 meters without any degradation in image quality using a 2-channel multimode optical cable. HDCP/DDC communication is also transmitted over the optical line, making it less susceptible to sudden currents caused by lightning. It is capable of transmitting a maximum resolution of 2560×1600 over 300 meters.
