A spherical sliding bearing structure with a ball and housing in spherical contact.
The "MTR Rod End" is an automatic spherical sliding bearing with a significantly larger allowable tilt angle than ball bearings. It has a structure where the ball and housing are in spherical contact, providing a large allowable tensile fracture load and allowable ball pull-out load. 【Lubrication Method】 ■ Oil-fed series ■ Oil-free series *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

basic information
【Material】 ■ Balls - The standard product uses high carbon chrome bearing steel SUJ2, which is hardened and tempered to a hardness of HRC58 or higher. - If corrosion resistance is required, stainless steel SUS440C is heat-treated and used with a hardness of HRC56 or higher. - For special applications requiring impact resistance, chrome molybdenum steel SCM415 can be used after carburizing and hardening. ■ Housing (screw type) - The standard product uses structural carbon steel S35C. - If corrosion resistance is required, stainless steel SUS303 is used. - For applications requiring impact resistance, chrome molybdenum steel SCM415 can also be used after tempering. ■ Outer race (round rod end) - S35C or SUS403 is used. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.
