We have obtained a patent for hydrogen-generating bath additives. We manufacture and sell hydrogen-generating bath powders and hydrogen-generating showers (cartridge type) that allow for easy hydrogen-reducing baths. For bath additives, in a typical recipe, simply adding one bag to approximately 100-200 liters of water at around 40°C can achieve a reduction potential of -250 to -400 mV. ■ Oxidation and Reduction Oxidation is considered a chemical reaction that involves the loss of electrons, typically through the combination with oxygen or the loss of hydrogen. In contrast, reduction is a chemical reaction that involves the gain of electrons, typically through the combination with hydrogen or the loss of oxygen. Hydrogen, a powerful antioxidant, reduces oxidized substances by reacting with them. In other words, hydrogen has the ability to reduce oxidized substances and return them to their original state. Crystal Red focuses on this hydrogen and has successfully developed a product that generates a large amount of hydrogen in the bathtub.

■Redox Potential The redox potential refers to the difference between the oxidation power and the reduction power expressed as a potential difference (voltage in mV), and it is also called ORP value or Redox potential. A positive redox potential indicates strong oxidation power, while a negative value indicates strong reduction power. Additionally, since the redox potential of pure water is +200 mV, values above +200 mV are referred to as oxidizing water, while values below are called reducing water. A low (negative) redox potential indicates that the release of electrons (negative charges) is active. In other words, water with strong reducing power donates electrons to oxidized substances, thereby reducing them. Crystal Red achieves a redox potential of -400 mV.
