Compared to conventional products, the chip is approximately 33% smaller, allowing for contact with a very small chip width of about 20μm.
The probe chip, thanks to MPI's unique MEMS technology, has very high visibility, making probing easy for anyone. The high-precision and robust chips, which are on par with competitors, offer a long lifespan and are priced affordably, resulting in a high cost-performance ratio. Applications/Examples of results
The TITAN probe, created with excellent mechanical precision, achieves a contact chip with an accurate 50Ω characteristic, enabling high-precision RF calibration over a wide frequency range due to its electrical properties (low insertion loss/crosstalk, excellent reflection loss). Unlike probes and chips from other companies, the TITAN RF probe has exceptional visibility due to its unique MEMS chip structure. This allows even inexperienced operators to probe the RF probe onto calibration boards or DUT pads without using alignment marks. One of the features of the TITAN probe is its consistent wear. After hundreds or thousands of contacts, the length of the probe chip naturally decreases. However, due to its unique probe structure, the electrical properties remain unchanged. This results in a significantly longer lifespan for the TITAN probe compared to other probes.
