Our company is engaged in the development of technology for "ocean thermal energy conversion," which can be considered the ultimate renewable energy. The technologies we have cultivated over many years are not only aimed at realizing ocean thermal energy conversion but are also used for generating electricity from relatively low-temperature industrial waste heat produced by factories, as well as geothermal heat from hot springs. Furthermore, they are utilized as heat exchangers for various industrial applications beyond power generation. The core of our technology lies in process engineering related to the temperature difference power generation system and the design and manufacturing of heat exchangers, which are the most critical equipment that constitutes this system. The heat exchanger we have independently developed for the practical application of ocean thermal energy conversion, the XP plate, is a plate-type heat exchanger with a fully welded structure that is entirely different from conventional products. It has obtained numerous patents along with its outstanding manufacturing technology. With its simple and direct flow path, the XP plate has garnered attention as a compact device that efficiently recovers thermal energy from fluids that tend to clog and contain solids, which have previously been abandoned, as well as from gases that need to flow at high volumes and speeds.
