Quickly generate lattice models from STL files for particle methods, finite difference methods, and voxel methods!
"Meshman_ParticleGen_HPC ver.2.2" is a CAE software handled by Insight Inc. It allows for data generation even for model shapes that contain numerous internal cavities, and can generate particle layers of up to three layers both outside and inside the shape. Additionally, the software features the ability to run without a GUI via command line, as well as a function to display the generated particle model in a simple 3D view after particle generation. [Features] ■ High reliability of particle data generation algorithms ■ Ability to generate models from multiple volume shapes ■ Capability to generate partial particle models within specified coordinate ranges ■ Ability to create particle models that are translations of the original shape ■ Ability to calculate the distance from the original shape and the normal vector for each particle *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Software Features】 ■ Direct specification of grid spacing or specification based on the number of divisions of the shape is possible. ■ Capable of generating particle models for the shell parts of object shapes (3 layers on the outside/inside) and internal filling. ■ Model generation from multiple volumes is possible. ■ By specifying the range of coordinate values, particles can be generated only in a specific part of the shape. ■ Data specifying boundary conditions and material properties can be generated for each volume. ■ Added functionality to execute without a GUI on the command line. ■ Added functionality to easily display the generated particle model in 3D after particle generation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Insight Inc. was established in 1999 from the Intelligent Modeling Laboratory (IML), created at the University of Tokyo to foster venture companies. We have participated in various projects in collaboration with the university, such as the "Development Project for Large-Scale Computational Mechanics Systems for Design (commonly known as ADVENTURE)" (a project under the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science's Future Development Academic Research Promotion Program in the field of "Computational Science"). We aim to convert the cutting-edge technologies gained from these projects into software that is easily accessible to the general public, and to contribute to society by widely providing high-quality knowledge in areas such as programming and analysis techniques. Considering the convenience of technology transfer from the university, our office is located in front of the Akamon gate at the University of Tokyo.
