The "Open Library(R)VPS Type2" is an ultra-compact, primary battery-operated model of an RFID tag that utilizes real-time location and status information of wireless tags to monitor the abduction of newborns and unauthorized departures of patients. It monitors for solo detections outside of parent-child pairs and staff-newborn pairs. If a newborn is detected alone in a danger area, it is immediately deemed a risk, and an alarm is triggered.
