We handle pyroelectric sensors manufactured by Infratec. This product is a thermal-type sensor, where the incident infrared energy changes the temperature of the pyroelectric element. In response to this temperature change, the electrodes on the surface of the element become charged, generating voltage or current, which becomes the signal.
