The collaboration between Arakawa's cyber attack automatic defense solution software "AX-Security-Controller (hereinafter referred to as AX-SC)" and Flowmon's behavior detection feature "Flowmon ADS (Anomaly Detection System)" has been technically validated by both companies. "Flowmon ADS" detects undesirable behaviors on the network such as communication with C&C servers, port scans, and dictionary attacks, identifies the IP address information of suspected devices that may be infected with malware or compromised, and notifies "AX-SC." In turn, "AX-SC" automatically blocks communication from the suspected devices and quarantines them. As a result, customers who have built their networks using Arakawa's switch products and "AX-SC" can add "Flowmon" appliances to monitor traffic across the internet gateway and internal organizational networks, preventing damage at the edge switches and stopping the spread throughout the entire network. This enables the automation of detection and response to security threats.
