Development of an online inspection UT device using ultrasonic phased array technology.
We have developed an online inspection UT device using an ultrasonic phased array method. Instead of the conventional rotating probe method, array probes are arranged around the entire circumference of pipes and round bars, allowing for electronic rotation of the ultrasonic sound field to perform full surface inspection. This significantly simplifies the mechanism and improves maintainability. Additionally, it can accommodate a wide range of focus points, enabling the detection of smaller defects and improving the signal-to-noise ratio. ⇒ For more information, please download the catalog to read further. We have developed an online inspection UT device using an ultrasonic phased array method. Instead of the conventional rotating probe method, array probes are arranged around the entire circumference of pipes and round bars, electronically rotating the ultrasonic sound field to perform comprehensive flaw detection. This significantly simplifies the mechanical components and improves maintainability. Additionally, it can accommodate a wide range of focus points, allowing for the detection of smaller defects and an expected improvement in signal-to-noise ratio. ⇒ For more details, please download the catalog and read further.
