Environmentally friendly powder coating that can be cured at high temperatures in a short time! With excellent post-processing properties, it does not crack or peel even after bending post-coating. Compatible with PCM lines.

A new product, "Toa Powder Apress QB," has been released in the HAA hardening type polyester resin powder coating series "Toa Powder Apress"! It cures quickly due to high-temperature baking, allowing for reduced processing time. Additionally, during the baking reaction, there is almost no generation of yellowing gases such as smoke or resin, which helps to minimize yellowing of the coating film. ◆ High-temperature short-time baking The usual baking condition is 160°C for 20 minutes (object temperature), but it is possible to achieve the properties of the coating film at 190°C for more than 5 minutes! If the object temperature is raised above 200°C, a coating film can be formed in over 60 seconds! ◆ Excellent post-processing properties Even with a coating thickness of 150μm, there is no cracking or peeling of the coating film when bent at a diameter of 2mm at 180°. It can be adapted to various lines, such as pre-coated metal (PCM) lines. When painted on aluminum foil and folded into a crane, there is no cracking or peeling of the coating film. (See image) ◆ Environmentally friendly type It uses an HAA hardener, and there is no volatilization of PRTR target substances during the baking reaction. There is almost no generation of smoke or resin, which helps to minimize yellowing of the coating film and keeps the drying oven clean.
