This application note describes the methods for generating and analyzing wideband digital modulation signals in the millimeter wave band. Rohde & Schwarz measurement instruments and accessories provided by third parties are used for both signal generation and analysis. The measurement results evaluate the performance of millimeter wave signals in terms of EVM, which is a representative performance metric, and adjacent channel power.
