An example of manufacturing a stopper using thermoplastic POM through machining and lathe processing.
Introduction of a case where a stopper was manufactured using machining and lathe with plastic material! Considering the characteristics of the material, we strive to accommodate requests for tolerances and distortions as much as possible.
At Takimoto Giken Kogyo, we manufacture stoppers using plastic resin materials with machining and lathe processes. Due to the limited width for split processing, we respond by using both lathe and machining. If machining and NC lathe processing take time for clamping or positioning, we will use both NC processing machines to accommodate the work. ~Points~ In the field of industrial machine parts for the automotive industry, items requiring split processing may have significant variations in cost depending on the design dimensions, especially when the cutting width is large, making processing easier. Additionally, POM (Duracon, polyacetal) is often compared to MC nylon as it is a well-balanced material among engineering plastics and is also cost-effective. Our company manufactures from small lots and even single pieces. We also accommodate repeat orders starting from one item. Since our establishment in 1978 as a specialized processing company for plastic resins, we strive to minimize risks such as unpreventable order omissions and tool breakages by responding with short lead times to meet your needs. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Takimoto Giken Kogyo Co., Ltd. primarily focuses on the processing of industrial plastic resins, handling everything from single units to mass production (with a proven track record of up to 18,000 units) for machined parts, jigs, prototypes, and more. In response to the high demand for short delivery times, we have increased our material inventory to ensure quick responses, even when material manufacturers are closed, allowing us to better meet customer needs. Additionally, in response to requests for "just the plastic resin material as soon as possible," we have started offering cut sales. We have also received requests for "could you also handle 6F (6-sided milling)?" and have made arrangements to accommodate that. We are committed to making efforts to meet our customers' requests, so please feel free to consult us if you have any concerns.
