Introducing a case where heat-resistant PVC (HTPVC) was used to manufacture insulators using a CNC lathe machining center! We accommodate requests regarding tolerances and distortions while considering the material's characteristics.
At Takimoto Giken Kogyo, we can manufacture insulators using heat-resistant PVC (HTPVC) with NC lathe machining centers. Insulators for industrial machinery related to the automotive industry often require thin-walled processing, which is challenging, so materials that can withstand electrolytes are selected. Additionally, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) has high chemical resistance but low heat resistance. However, it is inexpensive and can be both glued and welded, making it widely used for safety covers and building pipe materials. However, due to the prevalence of thin-walled processing and indexing work, longer lead times and higher prices may occur. Our company uses a 4-axis machining center that does not require clamps or positioning jigs for indexing work and machining of screws through NC lathe composite processing (Okuma). ★Helpful Information Unlike metals, plastic resins require consideration of tolerances, distortion, warping, and burrs. In terms of tolerances, there may be ambiguous dimensional tolerances, so we recommend leaving plastic processing to the professionals. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Takimoto Giken Kogyo Co., Ltd. primarily focuses on the processing of industrial plastic resins, handling everything from single units to mass production (with a proven track record of up to 18,000 units) for machined parts, jigs, prototypes, and more. In response to the high demand for short delivery times, we have increased our material inventory to ensure quick responses, even when material manufacturers are closed, allowing us to better meet customer needs. Additionally, in response to requests for "just the plastic resin material as soon as possible," we have started offering cut sales. We have also received requests for "could you also handle 6F (6-sided milling)?" and have made arrangements to accommodate that. We are committed to making efforts to meet our customers' requests, so please feel free to consult us if you have any concerns.
