A GRIN lens is a miniaturized lens that combines excellent optical performance with a uniform optical surface. It is also a lens with very low wavelength dependence. The refractive index distribution within the glass, created by ion exchange, determines the optical power of the GRIN lens. At GRINTECH, our unique "non-toxic silver exchange" technology is used in rod lenses and cylindrical lenses.
