Testing the tendency of segregation in fluidized powder particles!
The tendency of segregation of fluidized powder particles due to airflow can be tested with a sample size of about 10 mL. In a fluidized bed, fine particles generally remain at the top for a long time due to the air they contain, while larger, denser particles tend to gather at the bottom, leading to segregation. After mixing with a mixer, during filling and discharging, or when transporting by air, the likelihood of segregation due to fluidization increases.

Applications/Examples of results
- It is possible to simulate segregation when aerating bulk powder particles. Examples: filling into containers, rapid mixing, air transport, etc. - Segregation can be compared using different materials. - High reproducibility tests can be conducted with computer-controlled gas flow, reducing dependence on the operator.
