Marcheco is a simple system that floats in the cooling tower (and lower water tank) to regularly supply chlorine. It has low construction costs, an extremely long lifespan, and the chlorine supplied is inexpensive, so running costs are not a concern. By removing algae and scale, pipe clogs are eliminated, resulting in energy-saving effects. The core technology of this system is the superoxide ion generation method, aimed at wastewater purification treatment related to food manufacturing plants, deodorization and water quality improvement of sewage and domestic wastewater in agricultural communities, decomposition of organic matter, and oxidation and decomposition of oil in oily wastewater. It can be installed in existing facilities at a low cost and can be used semi-permanently with regular maintenance (approximately once a year). ◆Basic Principle It is a catalytic reaction obtained by bringing a water solution containing free chlorine into contact with Mecacera balls (functional ceramics).
