As the number of items that construction personnel need to take out increases to accommodate a wide variety of services, being careful not to forget anything on-site has become a significant burden for workers. Losses can lead to major security incidents. By linking with an "RFID-based item management system," equipment loaded onto construction vehicles can be checked at departure. If there are unverified items left behind after on-site work, an email report is sent to the administrator, allowing them to follow up for confirmation. In the future, we are considering measures such as "alarm sounds in the cabin" to facilitate the discovery of forgotten items. This system allows for the confirmation of items loaded on-site, enabling personnel to prepare for departure with peace of mind. ■ We exhibited at the JECA FAIR 2019, the 67th Electrical Construction Industry Exhibition. NTT East Japan Chiba Division has started a demonstration experiment in collaboration with Miyagawa Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Aichi Corporation to implement an "RFID-based Outgoing Management System" and an "RFID Equipment Management System for Bucket Trucks," aiming to reduce operational costs and improve productivity. (1) RFID-based Outgoing Management System (Miyagawa Manufacturing) With the introduction of this system, the status of outgoing items can be instantly grasped, allowing for efficient arrangement of construction work according to the items taken out. The return status can also be monitored, reducing risks such as forgetting to return items or loss. Construction personnel can confirm items simply by passing through the RFID gate, and management records are automatically generated, significantly reducing the operations required for applications by construction personnel and approvals by managers. (2) RFID Equipment Management System for Bucket Trucks At departure, the equipment loaded onto the construction vehicle is checked. After local work is completed, if there are unconfirmed items left behind, an email report is sent to the manager, allowing for confirmation from the manager as well. This ensures that any forgotten items can be checked on-site, allowing for a worry-free preparation for departure. Considerations are being made to facilitate discovery, such as through "alarm sounds in the cabin."
