The "Electrostatic Flocking Brush" is a brush with short pile fibers cut to lengths of 0.5mm to 3mm, which are flocked onto substrates such as shafts and sheets. The cut pile is introduced into an electric field and fixed (flocked) onto the substrate via an adhesive. Similar to fabric brushes, it enables control and stabilization of brush resistance values while allowing for low cost, small diameter, and space-saving designs.
