Introducing some trivia about relief valves (blow-off valves) and open-type safety valves.
A "relief valve" (also known as a blow-off valve) is primarily used to release excess pressure when the fluid pressure rises to a predetermined level. Its structure is very similar to that of a safety valve, and a safety valve may also be used as a relief valve. A "vented safety valve" refers to a safety valve whose secondary side is connected to the atmosphere, and the fluid is limited to air or inert gases that can be safely released into the atmosphere. 【Features】 ■ Relief Valve - Used to release excess pressure - Structure is similar to that of a safety valve ■ Vented Safety Valve - A safety valve whose secondary side is connected to the atmosphere - Limited to fluids that can be safely released into the atmosphere *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
