Gripex is used to pull materials from the chuck using coolant pressure and to transport finished workpieces. Its patented unique mechanism is characterized by a strong gripping force at low coolant pressure. **Advantages of Gripex** - Easy setup – No need to adjust for workpiece diameter as long as it is within the compatible range. - Compact and lightweight – Its small size minimizes interference, so there is no need to change the position of adjacent turret tools. - Powerful – It withstands pressures of 20 bar without the need for an additional pressure relief valve. - Gripex does not require high pressure. - Operates from 0.5 bar. 【Functional Principle】 ■ Gripex operates with the coolant system of a lathe. The workpiece is clamped with the coolant ON, and the jaws are loosened with the coolant OFF. 【Maximum Allowable Coolant Pressure】 Gripex Large 20bar Gripex Small 15bar Gripex Mini 7bar ■ The tool holder supplied with coolant liquid is mounted directly onto the VDI turret. ■ The valve (screw for releasing the housing) can quickly open the jaws while the coolant system is operating.
