The hologram encoder 'DC8614-H' was developed in 1988 to prevent counterfeiting of securities due to the recent proliferation of personal computers, scanners, color copiers, and other technologies. This machine operates all functions, including paper depth and hologram foil transport, via data input from the control panel.
