Introduction of mixing test cases using a tumbler mixer for resin pellets and powdered pigments.
Our "Tumbler Mixer" is widely used by customers in the resin molding industry. This time, we received a request to conduct a test on mixing resin pellets and powdered pigments (dry color). The test machine is the "Tumbler Mini TMC-20 (container capacity 20L)," and the mixture consists of 2kg of PP pellets (pre-treated with blend oil) and 12g of powdered pigment. The results were favorable, and we received an immediate order, which is currently in production. One disadvantage of using powdered pigments in resin molding is "spillage," but based on the customer's idea, we are currently producing a custom specification to prevent spillage during the injection into the molding machine. [Case Study] ■ Test Machine - Tumbler Mini TMC-20 (container capacity 20L) ■ Mixture - 2kg of PP pellets (pre-treated with blend oil) and 12g of powdered pigment - 5kg of PP pellets (pre-treated with blend oil) and 28g of powdered pigment *You can view Aisin's comprehensive catalog via PDF download.
