Here is a case study of delivering aluminum drums. The design manager of our client was tasked with designing a drum structure for a winding machine based on user requirements. The drum was required to be made of aluminum for weight reduction, but there were specific manufacturing conditions. They searched for a manufacturer but faced rejections and were in a difficult situation. As a result, it took three months from the request to delivery, including the time spent searching for a vendor.
