For scientific and analytical instruments, chemical resistance is often necessary, and the precision requirements are not very strict, so we frequently use PTFE (Teflon). PTFE (Teflon, Naflon, Balfron) is an excellent material for chemical resistance, but it has a large variation in dimensional tolerances, and just measuring it by hand during inspection can lead to changes in dimensions. We use general lathe processing (Mori Seiki) for simple lathe-processed items, finishing processes, and chamfering, for items that do not require programming.
