It is used in a positive pressure system to prevent tank damage due to pressure overload, relieving pressure loads by being installed at the air intake and exhaust ports. The weight of the buoy that rises under internal pressure is 0.325 kg. The pressure receiving cross-sectional area of the buoy is 4.5 cm in diameter, so A = π × (4.5²)/4 = 15.9 cm. Therefore, the pressure (internal pressure) at which the buoy rises is 0.325/15.9 = 0.00204 kg/cm² = 204 mmAq.
